We started the run with three falsies, in fact not even on the right mountain…good start. Thereafter we engaged in some serious bundu bashing through some rather prickly shite which came up to knee height, well on me anyway – a little higher on some others but one mustn’t name names. Keelover wore a trackpants, what did she know that we didn’t?

We met the walkers at a booze stop, the first of three organised by Koeksuster, before setting off again at a hectic walk, all we could manage on the terrain. The hare, and co-hares and here, your humble scribe has to hold his hand up, lost the trail but we stumbled on it again. Then running down dunes like ADHD kids before slogging our way up a 12 minute run back to the chariots.

Ceremony:
Held at snake charmer’s pad, in honour of her birthday, a real gentleman doesn’t ask a lady’s age.

Wednesday’s run: Southern Right hotel
Sunday’s run: Rondebosch common, on the Rustenburg Side parking lot. Wear something green in honour of St. Paddy’s day, prize for best costume and may the Leprechaun’s preserve you.
