Another beautiful day in Paradise saw a late start to the advertised run as we were all looking for parking. Excellent turn-out to pound the pavements (and thereby match the waves which were pounding the promenade).

A messy start with a delay in finding the trail. I headed down what proved to be a falsie, my first of five for the day. After a brief sojourn along the water’s edge, and several detours, falsely, up the hill, we swung left and up, up, up.

Following a brief re-group at check six, although gutter guts started drinking long before then, we did some more climbing up Signal Hill before heading back down the road.

The ceremony was held next to the police station, and Cape Town’s finest spared us not a glance. RA was snake-charmer who was carbo-loaded for the puffer (good luck, Yvonne). Among the guilty were, Gutter-guts, Helga, Blabbermouth, Gargoyle and moi.

Her-anus back, too soon, from his three week break/gift to Hash, felt that there were too many new feet. These include Law and Order and other as yet unnamed Free State noointjies, and Nicky, a Wednesday regular.

Returning feet: great to see grave-robber and Naughty-by-nature. Also a welcome back to Derelict and Mother Inferior.
